Starting line up for the 2013 Forth Annual Sharks On The Run Race at Sandersville Elementary in Lexington, KY!

  • The Race


    The fun run will begin at 8:00 AM and the 5K will be at 8:30 AM.

    Sharks On The Run is a 5K race to benefit Sandersville Elementary PTA. The race is in the neighborhood around the school. The proceeds from this race will go to benefit the establishment of Sandersville’s playground. The race offers something for everyone with both the main 5k race event and the 1 mile fun run/walk! This will be the final leg of the Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) Bluegrass Trifecta race series.

    Also, finishers of all three races that are age 18 & over will be entered in a $300 cash drawing. Cash prizes include 1-Win: $150, 1-Place: $100, and 1-Show: $50. To be eligible for a shirt and prizes, please indicate "Trifecta: Yes" on race entry form when you register for each race. "Trifecta T-shirt". will be available for pick up, and the cash drawing will be held, at the conclusion of the Sharks on the Run 5K.
